Emmaline Houston, MSW, is a doctoral candidate and course instructor at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto, Canada. Emmaline has direct practice experience working in child welfare at Children’s Aid Society and a Child and
Youth Advocacy Centre. Emmaline is researching the impact of child welfare systems, policies and legislations on the services received by children and families who are involved with child welfare. Her research interests include utilizing social epidemiology methodologies to identify factors that can promote wellbeing for children and families at a population level. |
